A work of art. A word it brings to mind. A poem.

hAIku is an installation that begins with looking. Choose one of eight works from the collections of two national museums, give it one word in English, and receive a short poem written for you and for it.

Write your poem

What is hAIku?

hAIku was created with the educators of the National Museum in Warsaw as a pilot project in museum education. It invites you to look at a work of art a little longer, and to try a creative conversation between a person and artificial intelligence.

You choose a work and offer a word. An AI model answers with a short poem, written from the museum’s description of the work and from your word. The poem is yours to keep.

The Vilnius edition brings together works from the National Museum in Warsaw and the Lithuanian National Museum of Art.
